Yoga Poses to Align Your Chakras

Physically tapping in to each chakra simulates balance between the energies in our bodies and minds, so on days when I can’t make it to class, or if I need an overall boost throughout the day, I find that even few minutes set aside to run through a series of poses focused on balancing chakras, helps me feel more energized and centered.  These 7 poses I illustrated, suggested by Sarah Walsh for MindBodyGreen,  are perfect for helping to get energy moving through out your entire body. And as always, breath is key while moving through these postures. Maintain deep inhales and exhales, and visualize sending the breath and energy to the physical location of the chakra you are focusing on.
